Senator Alan Rick names Jéssica Sales as possible running mate and delivers vehicles to Acre rehab centers
Senator Alan Rick (Republicanos, Acre) told the TV‑Río Branco program Tribuna Livre that former federal deputy Jéssica Sales (MDB) is now being considered as a potential vice‑candidate on his ticket for the upcoming Acre gubernatorial election, after previously denying any such prospect. He said the final choice will be announced closer to the party’s regional convention in July.
On Friday, Rick delivered a Fiat Toro pickup to the Comunidade Terapêutica Batista Ômega and a 15‑seat Toyota Hiace van to the Instituto Inova. The vehicles, funded with R$ 530 000 from his Senate mandate, aim to improve logistics for institutions that treat and reintegrate people struggling with substance dependence. Rick noted that his mandate has already allocated more than R$ 49 million to social‑service entities across the state.
