Senegal and Morocco roll out digital education programmes with AI and inclusive training

Senegal’s Ministry of National Education announced that the country is advancing the integration of digital tools and artificial intelligence into school curricula. Secretary‑General Papa Malik Ndao highlighted a curriculum overhaul, the Model Harmonised Bilingual Education System and ongoing teacher‑training initiatives as part of the nation’s broader digital education strategy.

In Morocco, the "Nissaa’Gen Tech" programme was launched in Casablanca to give rural girls access to scientific and digital‑technology pathways, including artificial‑intelligence training. The initiative, created in partnership between the Ministry of Digital Transition and Dell Technologies, aligns with Morocco Digital 2030 and the "AI Made in Morocco" roadmap, aiming to build digital skills, leadership and employability for young women from the Marrakech region.
