Senegal forecast limited rain, mostly dry conditions July 4-10, 2026
The National Civil Aviation and Meteorology Agency (Anacim) predicts a pause in rainfall across most of Senegal from 4 to 10 July 2026 due to weak monsoon activity. Overall weather will remain stable, with the northern regions staying dry while the south and southeast may experience thunderstorms. A slight resurgence of convective activity is possible between 7 and 9 July, bringing light showers to central areas such as Kaffrine, Kaolack and Fatick. The southeastern departments of Kédougou, Tambacounda and the Casamance region are expected to see locally moderate rain between 6 and 10 July.
