Senegal pilots AI for judicial archive management

The Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court in Senegal has launched preparatory work to implement a local artificial intelligence application designed to manage and exploit judicial archives. This digital transformation initiative is being conducted in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and with support from the Republic of Korea.

The project utilizes a local infrastructure to ensure the security of sensitive judicial documents and court decisions. Equipment provided to the Direction of Dematerialization and Automation (DDA) includes an NVIDIA DGX Spark and specialized tools for digitization and storage. As a pilot jurisdiction, the court will begin digitizing and integrating judicial documents into the new system this week, followed by training sessions for relevant personnel.
