Senigallia beach restrooms vandalized; four facilities closed for up to 10 days

Over the weekend, vandals destroyed the doors of four of the six public restrooms (numbers 3, 4, 5 and 6) located on Senigallia's promenade between the port and Cesano. The damage rendered the facilities temporarily unusable, causing inconvenience for beachgoers.

The municipal administration acted quickly, ordering new doors and installing signs to guide users to the nearest working restroom. Replacement parts are expected to arrive in 7‑10 days, after which the closed restrooms will be restored. Beach official Alan Canestrari said the town regrets the incident and is working to limit disruption, while the perpetrators remain unidentified.
