Senigallia expands dog‑friendly tourism and digital tools for summer

The Adriatic city of Senigallia is promoting inclusive, dog‑friendly tourism along its “Velvet Beach”. Initiatives such as the “In vacanza con Pluto” programme provide welcome kits for pets and designate specific beach hours for canine access, while local hotels, bars and restaurants join the effort. City officials, including beach assessor Alan Canestrari and tourism assessor Simona Romagnoli, stress that the growing network of dog‑friendly establishments aims to make the town a model of complete hospitality.

At the same time, Senigallia’s businesses are gearing up for the busiest summer period. Companies across hospitality, retail, services and logistics are investing in digital solutions—AI‑driven management software, planning tools and cost‑monitoring systems—to streamline operations and control expenses, especially fuel costs. Many firms are adopting fuel cards to better manage vehicle expenses, reflecting a broader push toward digitalisation and efficiency in the local economy.
