Italian towns host cultural conferences and community events in June 2026

In June 2026 a series of cultural and civic gatherings took place across Italy. In Caserta the “Sicura, Caserta sicura” conference, organized by the Ali della Mente association, brought together the prefect, the prosecutor, the police chief and other local officials to discuss legality, gender‑based violence and a new “Model Caserta”.

Molfetta’s “Eredi della Storia” association celebrated a week of cultural activities, including museum open days, a conference with a naval lieutenant and a public lecture on diet and health featuring local experts.

Senigallia hosted an international conference titled “Francesco, the man who crossed the Mediterranean to meet the other,” examining Saint Francis’s relevance to contemporary interfaith dialogue.

In Naples, the “Hermes and the Sciences” symposium was held at the Biblioteca Nazionale, featuring multilingual presentations on historical manuscripts.

Rome’s “Testaccio Incontra” program ran from 22 June to 8 July, offering public debates on cinema’s influence, peace and mental‑health issues, with participants from politics, media and academia.

Novellara launched an open‑air summer cinema series in the courtyard of the Rocca dei Gonzaga, supported by local sponsors and a crowdfunding campaign.

Finally, Santo Stefano di Rogliano commemorated the 150th anniversary of Guglielmo Marconi with a conference and exhibition on his ties to Calabria, backed by regional councils and research institutions.
