Tysy: New Civic Activity Center opens after 13.6 million PLN investment

The Tysy Civic Activity Center, known as ‘KONTAKT’, has officially opened at al. Bielska 128. The facility is designed to serve residents, non-governmental organizations, and informal groups by providing spaces for meetings, workshops, and training.

The project underwent significant cost increases during modernization, rising from an initial estimate of 7.8 million PLN to over 13.6 million PLN. This increase was attributed to changes in the room layout, new installations, and the addition of mechanical ventilation and air conditioning. The building also features solar panels, an energy storage system, an elevator, and Braille signage to ensure accessibility.

In addition to meeting rooms and offices, the center includes a dedicated space for recording podcasts. During the opening, Mayor Maciej Gramatyka emphasized the center's role as a hub for community cooperation and collective action.
