Senior community programs launched in Bochnia and Sieradz

Various community initiatives in Poland are offering educational and developmental programs specifically designed for senior citizens.

In Bochnia, the ‘Conscious Senior – Safe Senior’ program, implemented by the Ministry of Justice and the Government Plenipotentiary for Senior Policy, will hold an educational meeting at Kino Regis on September 28, 2026. The session aims to increase legal awareness and provide practical knowledge regarding internet safety, protection against fraud (such as the ‘grandchild method’), domestic violence prevention, consumer rights, and patient rights.

Additionally, the Sieradz Cultural Center is hosting the ‘Active Senior Academy’ series. This project includes various workshop cycles such as computer and smartphone training, English language lessons, yoga, handicrafts, nutritional therapy, and psychological group sessions to support elderly individuals in their daily lives.
