Seoul districts Dongjak and Guro announce new resident services

Seoul districts Dongjak-gu and Guro-gu are implementing new local initiatives focused on resident services and civic participation.

Dongjak-gu will host a customized tax seminar on the 28th at the district office. Featuring tax expert Lee Jang-won, the session aims to provide practical knowledge on inheritance, gift, and capital gains taxes, as well as real estate tax outlooks for 2027. The event is free for approximately 400 residents and includes a Q&A session.

Guro-gu has finalized its 2027 participatory budgeting projects following a general assembly. A total of 20 billion KRW has been allocated, with 22 common district projects (approx. 1.3 billion KRW) and 46 local neighborhood projects (approx. 700 million KRW) selected. Projects include installing shade structures for daycare playgrounds, CCTV for Anyangcheon roads, and improving bus stop environments.
