Seoul Economic Promotion Agency backs startups at Slush and VivaTech 2026 events
The Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA) announced a call for up to ten Seoul‑based startups to attend the Slush 2026 conference in Helsinki in November. Selected firms, founded within seven to ten years in sectors such as AI, fintech, deep‑tech, clean‑tech, bio and mobility, will receive a participation ticket, partial travel subsidies, mentoring and English‑language pitching support.
Earlier in June, SBA ran a joint "Seoul AI Hub" booth at VivaTech 2026 in Paris, hosting about 20 Korean startups. The integrated Seoul pavilion generated more than 300 business meetings and resulted in six memoranda of understanding, as well as ten awards for participating companies. SBA plans to continue operating the Seoul pavilion at future VivaTech exhibitions and to expand support for startups seeking European market entry.
