Seoul National University to host Global University Venture Forum
Seoul National University Technology Holdings (STH) will host the inaugural Global University Venture Forum (GUVF) on September 17 at the Samsung Convention Center in Seoul. The forum aims to stimulate venture investment among global universities and expand opportunities for promising startups to secure funding.
Under the theme ‘AI × Robotics: The New Future Created by Artificial Intelligence and Automation,’ the event focuses on the commercialization of university research and collaborative investment strategies. Participating institutions include STH, China’s TUS Holdings, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and Japan’s University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners (UTEC).
A total of 11 companies recommended by these institutions will participate, covering sectors such as physical AI, robot automation, deepfake detection, tactile sensors, quantum computing optimization, and resource circulation. The forum will feature IR presentations, exhibition booths, and one-on-one investment meetings to facilitate cross-border cooperation, global verification, and market entry.
