Seoul's Global Talent Fair draws 360 firms and 18,000 youth job seekers

South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Employment and Labor opened the 2026 Global Talent Fair at Seoul’s COEX convention center on February 1‑2. The two‑day job fair brings together about 360 companies—including foreign‑invested firms, overseas recruiters and domestic employers—and roughly 18,000 young job seekers.

A dedicated “TECH Zone” features around 90 companies from semiconductor, battery, display, bio, AI and IT sectors. For the first time, an AI‑based job‑assistant booth offers résumé analysis, role matching and a Korean‑language proficiency test for foreign‑studied candidates. The fair also includes 1‑on‑1 consulting for returning Korean professionals such as Kolmar’s Sejong plant, and online counseling sessions run from February 8‑19.

Minister Kim Jeong‑gwan (Industry) and Minister Kim Young‑hoon (Labor) praised the event as a platform for young talent to gain global experience and for firms to secure skilled workers in the rapidly evolving AI era. Representatives from 87 overseas firms—including those from Japan, North America, Oceania, China and Southeast Asia—participated in on‑site recruitment.
