Separate vehicle accidents reported in Puerto Rico and Argentina

Separate traffic accidents occurred in Salinas, Puerto Rico, and Mar del Plata, Argentina.

In Salinas, a driver named Miguel Ángel González Rivera was seriously injured on Friday night after losing control of a 2023 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle struck the central barrier of highway PR-53 at kilometer 91.7 before coming to a stop in the left lane. González Rivera was treated for traumas, lacerations, and hematomas at Menonita Hospital in Guayama.

In Mar del Plata, a driver lost control of their vehicle on Boulevard Patricio Peralta Ramos due to strong wind gusts and wet pavement. The vehicle struck concrete pillars and a coastal wall near Playa Chica. The driver was uninjured, and a sobriety test returned a negative result. The impact caused damage to the concrete structure and the vehicle.
