Septembre en Or: Fundraising initiatives support pediatric cancer research

Various charitable initiatives are being organized across France to support pediatric cancer research and awareness as part of the ‘Septembre en Or’ campaign.

In Morbecque, a charity walk is scheduled for September 30, organized by La Motte sportive and the local walking club. The event offers different routes, including a 2.5 km family loop and a 5.5 km forest loop, with all proceeds being donated to the pediatric department of the Oscar-Lambret center in Lille.

In Bordeaux, the rugby club UBB is participating through its ‘Coeur de rugby’ solidarity program. The club is selling teddy bear keychains at its stores, with all profits designated for the pediatric department of the CHU de Bordeaux. This initiative aims to support research in oncology for children and adolescents in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie regions.
