Septemvri Sofia: Alexander Tomash declines coaching role

Alexander Tomash will not take over as the head coach of Septemvri Sofia, according to club owner Rumen Chandarov. Although Tomash was expected to lead the team, negotiations reportedly failed due to disagreements over financial terms and Tomash's interest in opportunities abroad.

In the interim, Mladen Stoev will lead the team. This coaching change follows the resignation of Portuguese coach Simão Freitas, who stepped down for a second time this autumn following recent losses.

Septemvri Sofia recently exited the cup after a 1-2 loss to Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa. The club will continue to host matches at Vasil Levski Stadium rather than returning to Dragalevtsi for the time being. Their next scheduled match is an away game against Cherno More.
