Septemvri Sofia coaching changes

Overview

Following a 2-3 defeat against Dunav Ruse, head coach Shimao Freitas resigned from Septemvri Sofia. Freitas did not cite specific football-related reasons for his departure, stating only that “when people in a family look in different directions, it is best to separate.”

Club owner Rumen Chandarov later confirmed that Alexander Tomash declined the head coaching role, reportedly due to disagreements over financial terms and interest in overseas opportunities. Mladen Stoev has been appointed to lead the team in the interim.
