Serang City implements housing tax waivers and road infrastructure projects

The Serang City Government is implementing several regional development initiatives. To support President Prabowo Subianto’s ‘3 Million Houses Program’, the city has allocated nearly Rp21 billion in the 2026 Revised Regional Budget (APBD). This policy includes waiving Land and Building Transfer Tax (BPHTB) and Building Approval (PBG) fees, reducing them to Rp0 for eligible citizens.

Additionally, infrastructure development is progressing through the ‘Bang Andra’ program, a collaboration between the Serang City Government and the Banten Provincial Government initiated by Governor Andra Soni. Serang Mayor Budi Rustandi recently inspected the construction of Citra Gading Road in Cipocok Jaya, which spans approximately 870 meters in length. The Mayor expressed appreciation for the provincial collaboration in accelerating local infrastructure projects.
