Serbia and Montenegro experience electricity outages
In Kragujevac, Serbia, residents of numerous neighborhoods reported multiple brief power cuts lasting a few minutes over the past several days. The local utility, Elektrodistribucija Kragujevac (ED Kragujevac), said it has not recorded an increase in short interruptions and attributed occasional outages to routine maintenance or network faults, offering to verify the specific locations cited by customers.
In Montenegro, the electricity distribution company CEDIS announced planned grid works that will leave many streets and municipal areas without power on Sunday 2 August and Monday 3 August. Detailed outage schedules were provided for dozens of settlements and streets across several municipalities, with specific time windows for each location.
