Serbia awards employment contracts to 480 top medical graduates and technicians
Under the Program for the Employment of the Most Successful Graduates of Medical Faculties and Secondary Medical Schools, 100 top medical graduates and 380 high-achieving nurses and technicians in Serbia have received employment contracts.
The ceremony, held at the Palace of Serbia, provided these professionals with guaranteed positions in various health institutions along with opportunities for professional development, including free specialization and doctoral studies. Zlatibor Lončar, the Minister of Health in a technical mandate, presented the contracts and noted that the Ministry launched this initiative in 2018 to ensure the country's healthcare is managed by top-tier professionals.
Lončar emphasized that the state aims to recognize the hard work of students and prevent the brain drain of highly skilled medical staff to foreign countries by providing economic stability and advanced training opportunities within Serbia.
