Serbia delays Pančevo bus route works; Croatia launches electric buses in Virovitica

In Pančevo, Serbia, road works for the construction of atmospheric and sewage networks at the Cvijićeva‑Veljka Vlahovića intersection have been postponed to Monday, 10 August. The delay pushes back the temporary rerouting of municipal bus lines 6 (Center‑Strelište‑RNP) and 7 (Jabuka‑Strelište‑RNP), which will operate on altered streets for roughly a month.

In Virovitica, Croatia, the city will introduce electric public transport on 7 September. Five new electric vehicles – three minibuses and two full‑size buses – will serve four routes, including a night line, with service from 06:00 to 22:30 on daytime lines and 22:30 to 04:50 on the night line. The fleet, costing about €1.75 million, is financed by European Union funds and national recovery money, while charging stations and bus stops receive additional investment.
