Serbia election dates uncertain amid voter registration allegations

Speculation regarding the timing of upcoming Serbian parliamentary elections is intensifying. While President Aleksandar Vučić has suggested October 18 or 25 as potential dates, political analysts and SNS leader Miloš Vučević indicate that October 25 is a more likely timeframe. This is due to an upcoming SNS Main Board meeting intended to finalize candidate lists and coalition partners.

There is further speculation that Vučić may resign from the presidency to lead the 'United Serbia - Aleksandar Vučić' list in the parliamentary campaign. Meanwhile, the political landscape is being shaped by student movements calling for elections and concerns over opposition unity.

In a separate development, the organization CRTA reported evidence of potential electoral manipulation. An audio recording allegedly captures a branch of the Serbian Progressive Party in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, attempting to register dual citizens for voting in the upcoming Serbian elections.
