Serbia municipalities advance road infrastructure projects
Local authorities in Serbia are continuing infrastructure improvements through various road paving projects in both rural and urban areas.
In the Municipality of Ruma, officials have completed the asphalting of Kneza Ive od Semberije Street in Grabovci. The 350-meter stretch was renovated after nearly four decades of use, serving approximately twenty households and local farmers. Mayor Dušan Ljubišić noted that road infrastructure projects in the municipality are being implemented through public-private partnership agreements to bridge the gap between rural and urban living conditions.
In the City of Zaječar, paving works are underway in the village of Rgotina, covering 730 meters with an investment of 7 million dinars. Additionally, the final phase of asphalting is nearing completion on Pana Đukića Street in the city center, a project valued at 17 million dinars. Mayor Vladimir Videnović stated that these efforts aim to improve daily functionality for both urban and rural residents.
