Serbia police seize over 200kg of narcotics in raid
Serbian police have seized over 200 kilograms of various narcotics during a raid on an unregistered residence. The operation, conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Service for Combating Organized Crime, resulted in the arrest of a 28-year-old individual identified as M. K.
According to Interior Minister Ivica Dačić, the seized substances include approximately 180 kilograms of marijuana, 18 kilograms of cocaine, 43 liters of amphetamine oil, 11 kilograms of caffeine used for amphetamine production, and about 5 kilograms of hashish. Authorities also confiscated two electronic precision scales and 2,800 euros in cash.
The suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours pending a criminal report and transfer to the competent prosecutor's office in Sremska Mitrovica.
