Serbia promotes Expo 2027 Belgrade at Osaka event
The Serbian Embassy in Tokyo participated in the ‘EXPO Reborn!’ event held on October 11 and 12 at the ATC Hall in Osaka. The event was organized to commemorate the first anniversary of the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
Dragan Spasić, First Counselor of the Embassy, represented Serbia and highlighted the upcoming significance of 2027, which will mark 145 years of diplomatic friendship between Serbia and Japan. During this period, Belgrade and Yokohama are scheduled to host major exhibitions: Expo 2027 Belgrade and the Green Expo Yokohama.
High-level officials, including Osaka Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura and Osaka Mayor Hideyuki Yokoyama, visited the Serbian pavilion. The stand focused on promoting the Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade, showcasing Serbian gastronomy, cultural traditions, and materials regarding Nikola Tesla to attract Japanese interest in tourism and travel to Serbia.
