Serbia weather: Tropical heatwave to be followed by temperature drop
Serbia is experiencing a period of intense tropical heat, with temperatures reaching between 31 and 36 degrees Celsius in various regions. The heat is particularly pronounced in the central, southern, and eastern parts of the country. In Belgrade, daytime highs are expected to reach approximately 35 to 36 degrees Celsius.
Weather officials have issued warnings due to the exceptionally high temperatures. However, a significant change in weather is expected to arrive by the weekend. Starting Saturday, a noticeable cooling trend will occur across the country, with temperatures expected to drop by approximately 10 degrees Celsius.
Forecasts indicate that while the current period remains sunny and hot, cloudiness and localized rain or thunderstorms will begin to develop in the coming days. Rain is anticipated in western, northern, and central regions on Friday, followed by widespread rain in other parts of the country on Saturday morning.
