Serbia weather: Warm spell to end Thursday with rain and cooling

A period of unseasonably warm weather, often referred to as 'Indian summer,' is expected to conclude in Serbia this Thursday. Temperatures have recently surged, reaching up to 25 degrees Celsius in several parts of the country.

Meteorologists indicate that a cold front will arrive on Thursday morning, bringing northwest winds and localized heavy rain. Following the precipitation, temperatures are projected to drop significantly, falling by approximately 10 degrees Celsius. By Friday, conditions are expected to become drier but cooler, with daytime maximums ranging between 14 and 18 degrees Celsius.

The cooling trend is expected to persist through the weekend and into next week, with daytime highs potentially dropping to between 9 and 14 degrees Celsius. Some areas may also experience snow at elevations above 1,500 meters.
