Serbian Armed Forces pass readiness tests for peacekeeping
Units of the Serbian Armed Forces have successfully completed combat readiness and interoperability assessments for engagement in multinational peacekeeping operations. The evaluation, conducted by an international team, took place at the ‘Jug’ base and the ‘Borovac’ training ground as part of a second-level final check.
The assessed units included a light infantry company, a general-purpose engineering company, a military police platoon, and an atomic, biological, and chemical defense platoon. During the exercises, personnel performed tactical tasks designed to simulate scenarios encountered in multinational environments.
This assessment concludes a training and evaluation cycle under the Operational Capabilities Concept, utilized within the Partnership for Peace program. Following these results, the units will receive certificates valid for four years, officially confirming their readiness for international deployment.
