Serbian food producers concluded their participation at the SIAL 2026 food industry trade fair in Paris with significant commercial results. According to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, companies held nearly 1,400 meetings and signed 11 contracts totaling €2.8 million, with additional expected export deals valued at approximately €9 million.

Thirty-five domestic companies participated across two national pavilions, showcasing products such as frozen fruits and vegetables, organic goods, juices, honey, chocolates, and ready-to-eat items. The highest interest came from partners in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Croatia, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, and Switzerland. Additionally, contacts were established with buyers from the Middle East, Africa, India, China, the United States, Canada, and Japan.

The participation was organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Development Agency of Serbia. Jovanka Ćalina, head of the Chamber's Fair Organization Center, noted that the results demonstrate the ability of Serbian companies to compete in demanding international markets and facilitate further internationalization.
