Serbian notaries process voter signatures for elections

The Serbian Chamber of Notaries has announced that all 225 notary offices across the country are processing requests to authenticate voter signatures for upcoming parliamentary election lists. According to the Chamber, requests from political parties, coalitions, and citizen groups are being handled in the order they are received, based on the available capacity of each office.

To authenticate signatures outside of an official notary headquarters, a written request must be submitted in advance, specifying the exact time and location. The Chamber noted that while there are 225 notaries, the total number of authorized personnel—including assistants, associates, and trainees—is significantly higher, allowing for increased operational capacity. The fee for authenticating each signature is 30 dinars, including VAT.
