‘Konjuh’ drug gang indicted for five‑tonne marijuana trafficking

The Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime (TOK) filed an indictment against six people – Aleksandar Mijajlović (organiser), Ivan Dragnić (co‑organiser), Nebojša Spasojević, Rade Spasojević, Uroš Miladenovski and Robert Živković – for operating an organised criminal group that trafficked almost five tonnes of marijuana between Serbia and North Macedonia.

The group used the Skopje‑based firm Alfafarm Group, which holds licences for medical‑cannabis cultivation, as a front. Cannabis was imported under false paperwork claiming textile exports, stored in the village of Konjuh near Kruševac, repackaged and prepared for distribution. The Spasojević father‑son duo managed the storage and repackaging in Konjuh, Živković supervised storage and transport in Serbia, and Miladenovski moved about 100 kg to New Belgrade. The indictment also notes the possession of weapons and explosives linked to the operation.

TOK indicated that financial flows and possible cross‑border money transfers are still under investigation. The case covers activities from 2025 through early 2026, with the indictment issued on 22 July 2026.
