Serbian parties form ‘Narodna Srbija’ opposition alliance

The Narodni pokret Srbije (NPS), Novo lice Srbije (NLS), and Ekološki ustanak have formed a strategic alliance named ‘Narodna Srbija’. The coalition aims to coordinate political activities and electoral processes.

In a joint statement, the parties expressed a commitment to challenging the current administration under Aleksandar Vučić, which they characterized as having captured the state. The alliance stated its intention to work toward establishing functional institutions and preparing for upcoming elections.

The coalition’s stated priorities include combating crime and corruption, fostering economic recovery, defending national identity, and protecting natural resources such as water and land. They also emphasized the importance of rural development and increasing investment in agriculture.
