Serbian police arrest suspects in shooting and drug‑trafficking cases
Police in Smederevo detained a 24‑year‑old suspect after he allegedly retrieved a gas‑powered pistol from his home and fired several shots at minors in a schoolyard, injuring one in the hand. He was captured after attempting to flee on a scooter. The gun and eleven metal pellets were seized from his residence.
In Belgrade, authorities arrested 51‑year‑old Vuk Vulević, a dual citizen of Montenegro and Serbia, on a red Interpol notice. He is accused of organizing a criminal group, illegal production and trafficking of narcotics, and forging documents issued in Kosovo. Police confiscated two mobile phones and other items during the raid.
Both arrests were made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and related police units, with the suspects to be presented to the public prosecutor’s office.
