Serbian President Vučić and US‑backed Bosnia High Representative candidate meet amid student protest unrest

Antonio Zanardi Landi, a candidate for the High Representative position in Bosnia and Herzegovina, travelled to Sarajevo to attend a session of the Peace Implementation Council (PIK). He does so with the backing of the United States.

In Serbia, academic Radomir Saičić told Nova.rs that President Aleksandar Vučić and Serbian Patriarch Porfirije are closely aligned. He highlighted recent student protests – police figures put attendance at about 34,000, while organizers claim up to 180,000 participants – as evidence of a deep societal and political crisis that, in his view, requires sweeping systemic reforms rather than merely a change of government.
