Serbian women's boxing squad readies for European Championships in Loznica

Serbia's under‑19 women's boxing team is completing its final training camp on Zlatibor ahead of the European Championships scheduled for 11–22 August in Loznica. The squad will field four athletes: Nataša Lukić (‑51 kg), Jovana Devetaković (‑57 kg), Dunja Vuksić (‑65 kg) and Sonja Vukšić (‑75 kg). They are coached by selector Mirko Ždralo together with Pedro Ransel and Alan Bičenov.

Ždralo said the preparations have gone “according to plan” and praised the boxers for their discipline, seriousness and desire to improve. The athletes echoed the optimism, noting the supportive atmosphere, high‑quality training and the motivation of competing at home. Their goal is to reach the podium and demonstrate Serbia’s strength in European women’s boxing.

The championships will be the first major senior‑level event hosted by Serbia, giving the young boxers a chance to fight for medals in front of a home crowd.
