Serbia's EXPO 2027 Karavan Starts Nationwide Tour 300 Days Before Opening
The EXPO 2027 karavan, branded as the "Paviljon igre," was officially launched in Trstenik and will travel through more than 30 towns across Serbia, including Vrnjačka Banja. The tour aims to bring the atmosphere of the upcoming specialized exhibition to citizens, showcasing Serbia’s culture, sport, music and local products.
Organisers highlighted that the EXPO 2027 exhibition in Belgrade will run from 15 May to 15 August 2027, host over 140 international participants and attract around four million visitors. A dedicated "Serbian House" pavilion will display contributions from all Serbian municipalities throughout the 93‑day event.
The countdown has entered its final 300 days, with construction of the exhibition complex, new transport infrastructure, a modern Belgrade fair and other public facilities progressing rapidly. Officials such as Uroš Ranković (Director, Programme and Content), Milena Turk (Mayor of Trstenik), and Boban Đurović (Mayor of Vrnjačka Banja) emphasized the project's potential to boost tourism, local economies and Serbia’s international profile.
