Serbia's public universities set tuition up to 300,000 dinars for 2026/27

Admission exams for the new generation of students have concluded at the University of Belgrade and the State University of Novi Pazar, with further exams scheduled in Novi Sad, Niš, Kragujevac and the University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica. Tuition fees have risen at several faculties, the most expensive remaining the Faculty of Architecture at 300,000 dinars per year.

The Faculty of Philosophy proposes 738 enrolments (663 budget, 75 self‑financing) with fees of 118,548 dinars for Serbian citizens and 226,519 dinars for foreigners. The Faculty of Philology reports 1,143 places across language programmes, charging 120,000 dinars for locals and €2,500 for abroad students. The Faculty of Law plans 1,400 seats (600 budget, 800 self‑financing) with fees of 117,000 dinars (up from 114,000) and €2,465 for foreigners.

The Faculty of Political Sciences intends to admit 500 students, allocating 150 budget places and 350 self‑financing spots, with tuition ranging from 104,000 to 114,400 dinars depending on the programme. The Faculty of Education for teachers and preschool teachers will enrol 390 students across Belgrade, Novi Pazar and Vršac, charging 111,000 dinars for Serbian students and €2,000 for foreigners. The Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation will admit 270 students across several modules, offering a mix of budget and self‑financing slots.
