Sergio Galvez-Perez wanted in California for alleged incest and child endangerment
Authorities in Monterey County, California, are searching for Sergio Galvez-Perez, a 38-year-old undocumented immigrant accused of sexually abusing and impregnating his 14-year-old daughter. The investigation follows the discovery of a newborn infant, found dead on the side of Struve Road near Moss Landing on August 1, 2026.
Galvez-Perez faces multiple felony warrants, including incest, lewd or lascivious acts with a minor, unlawful sexual intercourse, child concealment, and child endangerment. Officials state he is allegedly hiding the teenager to prevent law enforcement from locating her.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed that Galvez-Perez is a criminal illegal alien who had previously been deported from the U.S. in 2008 before re-entering the country. Records indicate that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had issued a detainer for Galvez-Perez on July 11, 2023, following an arrest for driving under the influence, but the detainer was not honored by local authorities.
