Sergio Mattarella attends administrative lawyers congress in Palermo

Italian President Sergio Mattarella attended the inaugural day of the VIII National Congress of Administrative Lawyers at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo.

The congress, titled ‘The administrative lawyer between constitutional values, procedural rules and supranational norms: tools and forms of mediation between authority and freedom’, featured institutional greetings from Palermo Mayor Roberto Lagalla, Sicilian Region President Renato Schifani, and the President of the Council of State, Luigi Maruotti.

Other speakers included Orazio Abbamonte, President of the National Union of Administrative Lawyers; Giovanni Pitruzzella, a judge of the Constitutional Court; and Professor Guido Corso.
