Sergio Moro faces criticism over campaign errors in Paraná
Sergio Moro, a senator and candidate for the governorship of Paraná, has faced criticism following a series of errors during his electoral campaign. During a recent interview with Jovem Pan News, Moro claimed to have visited the ‘Santa Casa de Cascavel’ and spoken with its managers regarding a monthly budget deficit of R$ 500,000. However, it was quickly noted that no such hospital exists in the municipality of Cascavel.
This incident follows other recent campaign mishaps, including Moro forgetting the name of an event in Cianorte and expressing frustration on social media regarding traffic delays caused by overturned trucks near São Luiz do Purunã. The claim regarding the non-existent hospital drew sharp criticism from journalist Cinthia Lages, who questioned Moro’s credibility and competence during a broadcast of the program Meio Norte.
