Sergio Moro Wins Party Backing, Gets 3,000+ Suggestions for Paraná Governor Race
The new state executive of Democracia Cristã announced its official support for Senator Sergio Moro’s pre‑candidacy for governor of Paraná. The endorsement was presented in a video with the mayor of Clevelândia, Rafaela Losi, and the mayor of Vitorino, Marciano Vottri, who also took leadership roles in the party’s state direction. The party stated that its backing ends speculation about an independent candidacy and commits to contributing proposals on development, public management and security.
At the same time, Moro’s government‑plan project, titled “Juntos Paraná 399,” has collected more than 3,000 suggestions from citizens, experts, trade‑union bodies and public managers across the 399 municipalities of the state. Coordinated by pre‑candidate for vice‑governor Edson Vasconcelos, the platform records each input with geolocation, organizes them into five thematic axes and evaluates them technically before inclusion in the final plan. The initiative aims to incorporate popular demand into the campaign’s policy agenda.
