SernamEG allocates funds for women's entrepreneurship projects in Chile

The National Service for Women and Gender Equality (SernamEG) has distributed significant funding to support collective entrepreneurship projects in different Chilean regions as part of the 'Modo Empleo' Labor Reactivation Plan.

In the Maule region, 36 women were awarded a total of 60 million pesos to implement 12 innovative collective business projects. This initiative, part of the 'Mujer Emprende' Program, aims to strengthen economic autonomy and business capabilities through training and financial support.

In the Magallanes region, 15 million pesos were allocated to fund three collective projects. Each initiative received 5 million pesos to acquire machinery, tools, and supplies, as well as to develop shared marketing and sales strategies. These projects cover various sectors, including horticulture, aesthetics, carpentry, textiles, and handicrafts.
