Sertanejo singers record “Amigas” musical special at Globo Studios

Sertanejo singers Maiara & Maraisa, Simone Mendes, Paula Fernandes, and Naiara Azevedo gathered at Globo Studios to record the musical special “Amigas.” The event celebrated the genre by bringing together different generations of female artists, including guest performances by Roberta Miranda and Yasmin Santos.

The program featured an exclusive repertoire and paid tribute to the legacy of Marília Mendonça. During the recording, singer Maiara expressed surprise upon learning that Roberta Miranda’s birth name is Maria Albuquerque Miranda, noting that the veteran artist had adopted the name Roberta to reflect an Italian identity.
