Service expansions reported in Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire

In Burkina Faso, the National Identification Office (ONI) has launched a decentralization initiative in the commune of Niaogho, Boulgou province. The mission aims to bring the issuance of the new AES identity card (CIB-AES) closer to local populations. A specialized agent has been stationed at the Niaogho gendarmerie brigade to manage the entire enrollment process locally.

In Côte d’Ivoire, NSIA Banque Côte d’Ivoire has opened a new permanent branch in Bondoukou, located in the Gontougo region. The opening was attended by regional and local authorities, including the Prefect of the Gontougo region. The new agency is intended to support local economic development and provide improved financial services to residents and economic operators in the area.
