Sesame Street launches summer character shaved‑ice menu in Japan

The official Sesame Street store chain ‘Sesame Street Market’ in Japan will sell a limited‑time summer café menu called “Character Shaved Ice” starting June 25 2026. The first wave runs through August 31 and features eight varieties representing the show’s characters – Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar, Abby, Anne, Bert and the newly added “Rainbow”. Each ice is made from low‑impurity Shinshu deep‑water ice and flavored with syrups, fresh fruit, cream, ice cream or sherbet, with special toppings such as red bean, milk‑gelatin or coconut.

The menu is rolled out at several locations: Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, LaLaport Toyosu, Hankyu Umeda in Osaka and Takashimaya S.C. in Setagaya. A second wave of the Anne and Bert flavors will be available from September 1‑30, subject to ingredient availability.
