Sesc celebrates 80 years of social and cultural development

Sesc is celebrating 80 years of operation, reaffirming its mission to promote well-being, social development, and quality of life for workers in the goods, services, and tourism sectors, as well as their dependents and the broader community.

In Mato Grosso, the institution has integrated with the state's evolution by providing education for youth and essential health services through mobile units specializing in dentistry, women's health, and eye care. The organization also focuses on democratizing access to culture, supporting artists, and strengthening social tourism.

The work is part of a national effort led by the Confederação Nacional do Comércio de Bens, Serviços e Turismo (CNC). In Mato Grosso, the impact is driven by the partnership between Fecomercio/MT, led by Sebastião dos Reis Gonçalves, and Senac, aimed at fostering inclusion and professional qualification.
