Sesc celebrates 80 years with cultural events and exhibitions

Sesc is celebrating its 80th anniversary through various cultural and commemorative events across Brazil. In Presidente Prudente, actor and director Cacá Carvalho will participate in a discussion titled “Palco e plateia: a arte do encontro” at Sesc Thermas on October 22. The talk will explore the dynamic relationship between performers and audiences, drawing from Carvalho’s extensive career and his experience founding the Casa Laboratório para as Artes do Teatro in São Paulo.

In Tocantins, Sesc is hosting a photographic exhibition at the Capim Dourado Shopping on October 20 and 21. Titled “Exposição Celebra Sesc 80 anos – Nosso Álbum de Família,” the collection documents institutional milestones, including the Sesc Running Circuit, the National Open Schools Day, and various health and food festivals. The exhibition aims to showcase the institution's impact on education, health, culture, and leisure services provided to the community.
