Seven-Eleven Japan announces melon pan renewal and regional Hokkaido dessert

Seven-Eleven Japan has announced several new product updates and regional releases. Starting October 13, the company will roll out a renewed version of its popular melon pan across most of Japan, excluding Okinawa. The updated ‘Fluffy and Moist Melon Pan’ features a 10% increase in dough volume compared to the previous version. The recipe has been adjusted to enhance the contrast between the crispy outer crust and the soft interior.

Additionally, a limited-time regional dessert is being launched in Hokkaido stores. The ‘Mazemaze Sweets Melon Milk with Warabi Mochi’ utilizes Furano melon sauce, a specialty of the region. This dessert features a combination of melon sauce, white chocolate-infused milk, and elastic warabi mochi, designed to be mixed with a straw for varying textures and flavors.
