Seven-Eleven Japan launches seasonal moon-themed and sweet potato products

Seven-Eleven Japan has launched a series of seasonal food and dessert items across its nationwide stores. Starting September 1, the retailer introduced five products themed around ‘moon viewing’ (Otsukimi). The lineup includes the ‘Otsukimi Pudding Crepe’, ‘Otsukimi Roll Cake’, a teriyaki burger featuring a fried egg designed to resemble a full moon, ‘Otsukimi Zenzai’ with white whipped cream and mochi, and a large custard whip daifuku.

Additionally, the ‘Seven Cafe Bakery’ line is introducing an autumn-themed sweet potato cookie. Available from September 8, the cookie features two types of sweet potato paste and is designed to mimic the appearance of a real sweet potato with a purple exterior and yellow interior. These items are being released to meet seasonal consumer demand.
