Seven Network secures multi-year broadcast rights for Santos Tour Down Under

The Seven Network and 7plus have secured a multi-year agreement to remain the exclusive domestic broadcasters for the Santos Tour Down Under. The deal ensures that both the men’s and women’s races will be aired live and in their entirety across the network’s linear channels and streaming platform.

The 2027 edition of the event is set to be historic, marking the first time in the world that the men’s and women’s races will be staged over the same distance and on the same days. The men’s race will consist of six stages from January 19 to January 24, while the three-stage women’s race will run from January 22 to January 24.

To accommodate the overlapping schedules, Seven will provide separate live broadcasts for each race, featuring dedicated specialist commentary teams, roadside updates, and aerial coverage via helicopters. The competition will conclude with a final weekend in Willunga and Stirling, South Australia.
